10/5 Mental Health Task Force Meeting, 12 Noon to 1:30pm, NEW MEETING  
PLACE this month, York Public Library. All are welcome.

10/10 Route 236 Corridor Committee Meeting, 10am at Kittery Town Hall

10/12 Workforce Housing Coalition Meeting, 8:30 am at the Kittery  
Trading Post.  Enter through the employee door at the junction  
between the boatyard & the main building, to the right of the main  
doors as you face the building.  Maine Senator Peter Bowman and New  
Hampshire Senator Martha Fuller-Clark will provide recaps of the 2007  
legislative sessions as well as their thoughts about what 2008

10/17 Family caregiver support group, 5 to 7 PM, meets on the 3rd  
Wednesday of the month, at the Rice Public Library, Kittery.  The  
October 17th meeting will be used to determine whether the group will  
continue.  The November 21st meeting is cancelled, due to the  
Thanksgiving holiday.  If attendance is low in October, the final  
meeting for now will be December 19th.

10/24 York DHHS District Public Health Forum, 8:30-Noon, Village by  
the Sea, Wells. Dora Mills, MD, Director of Maine Center for Disease  
Control and Prevention and Trish Riley, from the Governor’s Office of  
Health Policy and Finance will be holding a discussion with local  
citizens about State Health Plan Priorities and the role of Local  
Health Officers. They will also provide health data for York County.  
All who are interested in participating in this dialogue are welcome.

10/26  Special Needs Parent Network, 7:00pm - 8:30pm at  the Family  
Resource Center at Landmark Hill, 518 Rte 1 in Kittery. (Meets the
